I was frequent flyer with Malaysia Airlines long before the world recognise Airasia as the world’s best low-cost airline. I still remember during my college year that I often go to the nearest travel agent and have my air-ticket booked and that time, I reckon that the fare was below RM79 (one-way) from Labuan to Kota Kinabalu and vice versa. Yeah, it’s a short flight which is approximately 45 minutes, but I prefer it than a 3 hour ferry ride to Kota Kinabalu. I guess I will never get the same fare from Malaysia Airlines nowadays, but deals is always on in AirAsia. My last journey with Malaysia Airlines was 3 years ago and it was actually my first long-haul flight with Malaysia Airlines to the Land of Kangaroo. I miss how they greet their passenger with pleasant attitude and friendliness and I love to see their professional way of interacting with their passengers and uphold the philosophy of “customer is always king”.

South Australia

Just recently, Malaysia Airline has been nominated in World Travel Awards for:
1.   2011 Asia’s Leading Airline
2.   2011 Asia’s Leading Airline Business Class
3.   2011 Asia’s Leading Airline Economy Class
4.   2011 Asia’s Leading Airline First Class
5.   2011 Asia’s Leading Airline Lounge
I guess they really deserved it and to make it a reality, votes are needed from current and previous customers of Malaysia Airlines. Other than that, the World airline is currently holding a survey to measure airline’s standard and let us vote for Malaysia Airlines and Airasia; Proud of Malaysian.
