Little Sulap is the place to go if you want to try some Kadazandusun cuisine, which is a local native cuisine.

So we had the chance to dine in Little Sulap, which is without a doubt the best restaurant serving local native cuisine. The location is a little out of the way, but you can find the restaurant with the help of Google Maps.

Personally, I like the rustic look and decoration of the restaurant, as well as the use of wooden stools and tables, which give off kampung vibes. The most important aspect is that it is clean.

My verdict

The food was excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the Original Sabahan Set. The standouts are tuhau (wild ginger), sayur losun, mango, and, of course, sambal.

The restaurant is immaculate, and the service is outstanding. There are a few places in the restaurant where you can take Instagram photos.
