Fish Guru Restaurant
I have been seeing Fish Guru Restaurant’s posts on instagram quite often so we of thought of trying one of their signature dish which is Tom Yum Slice Fish.
Different Tom Yum has different taste and story behind it. For Fish Guru, the recipe is nearly to the taste of one that can be found in village area in Thailand.
Having said so, you do not have to travel to Thailand, just to get taste of the original Tom Yum.
Food
Fish guru serves seafood, mainly fish and I can assure that it is fresh. Indeed when we make our order, their stocks were (fish) just arrived from the market.
According to the owner, they serve 3 types of fish and they are different from types of fish that the other restaurants serve.
Most of the foods are homemade by themselves and even one of the the noodle are import quality noodle. For them quality is the main priority and not only food quality but their staff’s quality.
Service
Staffs were totally friendly and polite, and extend to the owner of the restaurant. The owner even join us and and doesn’t mind to share how they first start the business, his struggle, his aspiration and vision. Which I guess you will never get any of this experience from other restaurant.
Ambience
The restaurant is not that big to hold a banquet, but it is cozy.
My verdict
I love the Tom Yum Soup and the fish are fresh and that makes Fish Guru different from the rest of restaurant that serve the same menu.
For them, quality is really important and most of the dish served in the restaurant either homemade or they got it from local suppliers.
Halal Status
Serve no pork
